John...I sure hope so. Will be learning a great deal about Vista in the near future.

As I'm sure you a well aware, these kind of deals in the PM industry do not parallel the results of "merger mania" in the general stock market. These deals are done out of weakness rather than strength.

Perhaps it is just the reflexes of a gun-shy dog when he hears the unmistakable lock of the gun cabinet?

After all, how many juniors have you owned the last few years in which a merger resulted in you impressing your accountant at tax time?

Hi Ez!

Thanks for the update.

As you have noted, things have not been good for the junior market.

However, the futures markets are looking up.....keep your eye on Pt, and especially Pd. I noticed a major Pd user buying huge quantities of Pd contracts here in Japan.

I suspect that the PM bear will soon be dead, and when the bull gets in full gear our junior shares will rise again.

How many shares of Repardre will we get?

THC

PS: Do you like uranium? It also has a great consumption/production deficit. Take a look at CCJ and ERA in Australia.

THC ..... GKR information

We recieved $.33 C and a .125 share of Repadre for each share of
GKR. Not ideal, but better than an option expiration!

Not that long ago Vista had a whole lot of mining equipment for sale.
It may be that the mining equipment will be used on the ore body.
Might be a good deal for everybody.

It's good to be the "acquirer" rather than the "acquired"! THC

Newhawk owns 60% of the Sulphurets project in BC. The other 40% is owned by Blackhawk mining (BHK) who just happen to be the partner of Silver Std in Argentina at Manantial Espejo.

This stock's been slowing drifting upward this whole year. We have a slowly rising triangle since the last few days of December until now with resistance at about 1-1/2, tested first in February and next in July. The bid has ticked up to 1-1/4.
