We sat in the spacious and luxurious rear cabin of the new EQV Concept on the Mercedesstand earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show with Daimler global design director Gorden Wagener, and found out much more.
......... People Already Have Ideas of What They Will Do in That Space: "You might use that space to cook. Or to sleep, put in a bed. Actually, I read a survey of what people believe they will plan to do in autonomous vehicles, and one of the top three was to have sex. Tint the windows. Get romantic." |

4. It’s a Cozy Place for Sex
As displayed by the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo, you can turn your Mercedes van into a camper. You can turn its interior into a living room, working space, kitchen or bedroom. According to the report, one survey even said that one of the top three things that people are planning to do in an autonomous vehicle is have sex. Just don’t forget to tint the windows.

Released 10 hours ago. Could find nothing new but on reflection I may have missed something the first time. Or at least I paid greater attention to things at 1.49 |

Even if the 19 refers to new models, 4 of them are McLarens which will bring in minimal revenue. JH admits that not all will make it to production. So what will be the real increase in revenue and when? So let's say that leave 10 new models. Compared to 14 that exist now. That's not even a double in the number of roofs. Even if they sell 2x as much as they do now, the company will still be losing money. At 3x, they will only earn approx 0.02 per share. Even at a PE of 150, that only equates to roughly the current share price.
So on some new mainstream auto OEM jumping in, they might pop a bit more but that will not be sustaining. Nothing will hold the share price up other than significant revenue gains - not 'just' a few million. And now they are making about half as much for each roof. So they will have to sell roughly 5x the number of roofs to make it to profitability. |

I can write more some other time maybe. But really, this is almost a joke--I checked the date. I'm going to get together some palm pilots , glue them into a hollow core door and go into competition with Gauzy:)
As for 'bistable' 2nd law of thermodynamics pretty much ensures that nothing is really bi stable in the presence of energy in this case in the form of light.
I could go on and on, but basically the lawsuit highlighted the key differences between the e ink particles, which are big and migrate and the smaller spd rods that rotate fixed individually in droplets within the polymer matrix.
E ink will need something similar to avoid clumping. Also those big particles are round so they will always occlude, rather than tint once they migrate. SPD particle are small and dispersed any they absorb, yes, but they also refract. E ink scatters.
no, this is a joke and any time we see 7" squares in a door we know it's a joke, ask anyone whose been in this for a while. |
