Maybe it's all laughable to you, and that's fine. We'll continue to agree to disagree. I really don't care what your opinion is, and you probably don't care about mine. Enjoy your evening, if you can. |

Let us put that penny stock price in context. REFR sold for over 30 times that much earlier this millennium.
Yet, some people still view it as a good investment. Amazing! |

To: poccidenarri who wrote (23109) | 6/7/2018 6:27:31 PM | From: JoAnnBarbour | | | What's insignificant to you, Pocci, may be significant to others. As for me, I buy based on my due diligence, of which I've done plenty. The fact that insiders are buying is just icing on the cake to me.
Like with Alex, let's agree to disagree. That's what makes horse races.
Speaking of horse races, maybe Justify will sing for us on Saturday. I'm rooting for him, but something tells me he won't make the mile and a half with the lead. They were closing in on him at a mile and a quarter at the Preakness. |

To: JoAnnBarbour who wrote (23113) | 6/7/2018 6:51:41 PM | From: poccidenarri | | | Due diligence is good, though quality is far more important than volume. Lots of REFR longs back in the day were confident because of the quantity of their due diligence. They should have paid more attention to the quality instead. Looking backwards, (always 20/20), we can easily see that they were very, very wrong.
But, maybe it is different this time, we will see. It has been said that history doesn't repeat, but as Sam Clemens said, it does rhyme.
I am not a follower of the horses. Kentucky specializes in 3 vices, and I tend to concentrate on the other 2.
However, I do agree with you about Justify. If he wins, I will be happy, as that is a great achievement. If he loses, I will be happy, because either way, I won't have lost any money. |

To: N. Dixon who wrote (23115) | 6/8/2018 7:54:40 AM | From: old frontier | | | Dixon, how did you come up with your statistics? You are beginning to sound more and more like Joe's relative!
50% of all messages are from shorts? How would you begin to even figure that out?
50% over what time(here is where you sound like Joe)-
1 day 1 week 1 month 8 days 3 years
That is such a misleading comment and you know it. Besides, you probably pulled that % out of your ____.
Aside from that, the volumes traded daily are way to small of a sample. Especially when Joe and his cool gang have been purchasing more often. How do you know he's not shorting the stock?
How do you know for sure who is short on this board. As mentioned many times, those that appear to be short are merely super frustrated longs who have bought into Joe's propaganda for 1,3,5,15,20 + years.
Please don't state statistics unless you can back it up-why don't you show us your work? You should be banned for 2 weeks.
Identify the shorts by name and show us how you arrived at 50%! Its one thing to provide your opinions, but when you start stating stats-readers take that seriously and believe they are factual. |
