but believe that the info in the call is significant and bullish.
New commercial airliner contract was announced. I know they didn't say who but I believe it wasn't just in negotiation but that Inspectech has an order for partitions.

Also several new OEMs making progress toward production vehicles with SPD, the higher take rates anticipated for the next 120K cars. He said that only 47K had been produced vs 120K that is coming.

The company was very clear as to the automotive OEMs stepping up the timeline. We just have to wonder if it's Ford, or a German automaker. Those two seem like a possibility near term.

Also we'll see SPD in different products like visors or passenger windows.

These things are exactly what shareholder expect to see as the company moves toward profitability. It's not years away anymore. The company has said "near-term".

profitability. It's not years away anymore.

When has it ever been "years away", except in hindsight?

Seriously, Nancy. Name me just one REFR conference call, in the past 20 years, that left you with the impression of "profitability is at least 24 months away".

Near term is the new "soon." We know how that all worked out, although maybe it's different this time around. We'll have to wait and see once again.

Soon went on for years, then, it turned into "sooooooooon."
Then came "expecting" and making progress," which morphed into "it's up to the licensees to announce."
For many months or maybe a year or so we have "inflection point."
Then comes "near-term."

Get that straight!!!

Whether "this time is different" or (again) not, I just want it noted how disingenuous that "anymore" part was.

Really, can anyone believe or want to wait the "near-term" two more years or so? It is hard to fathom the loyalty of some of the poor investors who have waited so long. It's probably figured that the loss would be too great to take both monetarily and psychologically.

Given comments about electric car, this is interesting.
