Blood On The Tracks – Original New York Test Pressing

Months before Bob Dylan released Blood On The Tracks in early 1975, a small number of test pressings were circulated, consisting entirely of material from sessions at A&R Recording Studios in New York City. Those original records were soon bootlegged, and the alternate history of one of Dylan’s most acclaimed works was born. This LP is an exact duplicate of the test pressing, containing unique mixes from the New York session available for the first time.

"The long run of shows the Grateful Dead performed in the Fall of 1980 at the Warfield in San Francisco featured some of the most exciting, dynamic, and talked-about concerts of the Dead's performing career. During this unprecedented 15 night engagement, each of the shows included three full sets of music, the first being acoustic Dead, followed by two electric sets. Remarkably little has been released from these shows, and never a complete set. Our 2019 Record Store Day title features two complete acoustic sets from the run, on back to back nights, containing 19 spectacular acoustic performances." - Archivist David Lemieux
We are serving up "Cassidy" (10/09/80) and "Bird Song" (10/10/80) from THE WARFIELD, 10/09/80 & 10/10/80 for your listening pleasure right over yonder. Like what you hear? Get thee to a record store this Saturday, April 13th to pick up the release on 180-gram vinyl (limited to 10,000) or as a 2-CD set (limited to 6,000).
