Apple could morph their TV box into a mainstream gaming console by increasing performance and using AI subunits. By defining their own version of a gaming console, Apple can leverage their own ecosystem and the user doesn't have to mess around with Sony and Microsoft's monstrosities.

Intel ‘Stunning Failure’ Heralds End of Era for U.S. Chip Sector

I expected this to happen eventually. I saw it coming way back in the 90s. Our domestic consumer technology companies can't compete with defense companies for talent. They have infinitely deep pockets. And we spend 6 to 12 times as much on defense as the Chinese too, that puts a heavy burden of taxes on our talent. It was just a matter of time.

TA update:

This week..Thurs & Fri...saw the first and largest break corrective move below uptrend support since the Mar low..with a 10% pullback from the prior 399.82 record high. ...reaching a 358.88 low, which coincides with the next lower horizontal support area...and lies below both exponential MAs...with surging volume...

Aforesaid low should now allow for some increasing support to kick in...and avoid any return to the next indicated support area as low as 320ish.

Apple’s AirPods Pro are on sale for $200 at Staples

Staples is running an incredible sale on Apple’s AirPods Pro earbuds, bringing the retail price down to $200, or $50 off its usual $250 price tag. This the best deal we have seen yet for Apple’s flagship true wireless earbuds.

JPMorgan boosts Apple target to $425 despite Focus List removal

Despite removing the shares from JPMorgan's Analyst Focus List, analyst
Samik Chatterjee raised the firm's price target on Apple to $425 from $365
and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares.

The analyst sees upside to $425 per share by the end of 2021, driven by
a "strong replacement cycle" with upcoming 5G iPhone launches, Apple's
leverage of a "strong" Services portfolio benefitting from large installed
base of users, as well as an "underappreciated leverage" to work from
home trends.

With that said, Chatterjee believes an earnings beat in the June quarter
as well as strong early 5G cycle volumes appear to be priced into the
shares.

AAPL is up $8.25 today.

Seems INTC just can't make the chips... may outsource its chip manufacturing to AMD or TSM.

What Mark Cuban Says Could Be The Greatest Threat To America's Tech, Military Future

AMD's P/E today is 162 according to Yahoo!!!

That also means Apple is going to be competing with INTC for room in the chip plants.

AMD does not fabricate their own devices. They went fabless 12 years ago and use TSMC for wafer fabrication.
