Jagmeet I like but I was leery of his platform.. He had some some tax proposals that may attract a certain segment but it turned out, in my riding it was a very tight race between Liberals and NDP.. and Liberals squeaked in..
Mainly because the riding is composed of a lot of workers and renters but also home owners with some of the richest properties.. So the Liberals won it back.. This was also the riding where the Justice Minister won the riding first as a Liberal and then as an independent.. And of course, now that she has two terms under her belt, she will probably collect her pension.. Politics is a nice gig, if you can get it for at least 2 terms.. LOL

I had a heart murmur.. this was attributed to a defective mitral valve. Each & every following year (9) I had an electrocardiogram. No need of surgery, yet.
The heart surgeon asked my how I feel. I said I feel like shit & it was getting worse, but he was not with the follow-up questions.
A year later, I changed my local & heart clinic.
As it turns out, I was given a 'stress test', and soon after, the exploratory camera via my right wrist. The 2nd artery was +80% blocked. The doc said "this is serious".. words of joy to me. A stent was put in.
If I had stayed put & relied on that first surgeon, I would have died not long after. |

Otherwise healthy, fit, exercise regularly without restraints, eat right etc.
Had stomach issues around 40, Doc wanted to put me on Prevacid for the rest of my life. Screw that. Glad I did. Turns out that and Prilosec used long term cause heart valve damage. All it really took was to eat better
and get proper sleep - in a more upright position.
Although I never say never but IMO a pill is almost never the solution. It is a bandaid. A bandaid that can sometimes do more harm than good. |
