Nato has gone ballistic in condemning him for it. He is seeking peace and the West does not want peace.

Do you think NATO should fight a nuclear war with Russia over this.
We are told a thousand times each day by our government that Russia and China are our enemies and they must be "contained". NATO has worked tirelessly for three decades to surround Russia with NATO. Ukraine will close the loop.
This after Russia sought to become a NATO member but was rejected.
Do you think our government would allow either Russia or China to put missiles, bases, and troops on our southern border? OF COURSE NOT!!!!!! Do you remember the Cuban missile crises?
Russia does not trust NATO on its border with missiles , bases and troops.
Russia will bomb Ukraine into the stone age to keep it neutral and out of NATO.
What is in "your" best interest? What is in the best interest of the US?
Personally, I am against taking the risk of sacrificing the lives of my family to gain Ukraine membership in NATO.
Do you want to risk a nuclear exchange with Russia to put Zelensky and Ukraine in NATO?
