I've been following Ashton Forbes' hugely crowd-sourced investigation into the MH370 event for several months. After several interactions with him discussing the technology involved over that time I can say this is 95% happening (barring govt. intervention. A friend of mine will be meeting with him at the upcoming Cosmic Summit. If everything works out at the Summit, it'll be 100% happening. The energy sector may become the short of the century.
