The latest evidence of a galactic magnetic polarity change beginning to affect our solar system is seen on the sun itself now.
The beginnings of over accumulation of material in the corona.
The Sun is coming down with a corona virus.

Something of interest to me . The writers at spaceweather expected a lot more solar flares in July and Aug of last year as solar cycle 25 kicked in an expected higher gear .

So far that has not happened . Which suggests the batter will be knocking that ball into some very cold seats by next winter . If the trend continues .

All the forecasts for cycle 25 are still just forecasts.
"Cold" via clouding is a cosmic ray relationship.
A GSM isn't the only way to boost their input to Earth.
The weakening magnetosphere coupled with reduced solar magnetic output has put us in a condition much like a full-blown GSM already.
In the last year or so, it's become more about magnetosphere strength.
And...in the background, there's still Rolf Witszche's contention that the Sun is in worse shape than a descent into a GSM.
There's only one direction from here.

He's having a hard time making any of it funny.
He's usually pretty good at it with other serious subjects.

These frigid cold temperatures are gradually spreading further south this weekend and are forecast to reach the Gulf Coast on Sunday. This has already been a historic cold for many areas and even more low and high daily temperatures will be challenged and easily broken from Sunday through Tuesday.
