TIA,
Five Star Diamonds trades under the symbol STAR on TSXV, with around 6.5 m shares out, giving it a market cap under 3 m. It recently got an infusion of capital from Turquoise Capital Corp -- a capital pool for which Five Star Diamonds became its 'Qualifying' investment. In effect, the Turquoise Capital Corp contributed the funds needed to advance the Catalao project and then renamed itself Five Star Diamonds, after the former company's name. It was a way to get money and a listing on the TSX Venture exchange.

Given the low market cap, Five Star has very promising diamond exploration properties, as discussed on the company website fivestardiamonds.net The Catalao project is the one being fast tracked toward production, if all goes as planned.

Note that the diamonds are in Kimberlite pipes near the surface, and preliminary results have found high quality diamond samples.

Five Star Diamonds is making good progress toward being a producing diamond miner in Brazil. It has practically doubled its already impressive hectares of exploration property. It has had encouraging results from some (limited) bulk sampling, and it has entered into an agreement with Hennig so that it will have a market for its rough diamonds.
Although very few retail investors follow the company, the market has moved the shareprice up recently, reflecting the positive developments. It seems reasonable to anticipate further increases in the shareprice as the move toward revenue production nears.
