The other day CJ made a crack about "honoring sincerely held beliefs" wrt lies.

It wasn't a crack. Just an observation that we live in a country where beliefs trump reality. Or are supposed to. You want to believe that a guy who is backing out of your driveway is a threat? The shoot him and say you were standing your ground. Want to discriminate against others? Just claim your beliefs require you to. And so on. There is no consensual reality any more. Just a patchwork of beliefs that don't have to be based in reality.

OTOH it is righteous to change the rules for safety to enable people to continue to vote as they would have absent the pandemic.

But it upset the plans others made to suppress the vote of undesirables. They were going to use the pandemic to reinforce the effectiveness of things they had already put in place. And it would have worked, too if it hadn't of been for those pesky kids...

To a cultist, it very well may seem like all of that has been debunked. To those rooted in the real world, not so much.

What about those courts in red states? And the ones by Trump appointees? I guess they failed, too.

No, what makes y'all cultists is the fact that y'all have become totally detached from reality.

Pro tip: this isn't a good thing.

I skipped over it, Wisconsin being off topic. As you know, I do try to stay on topic.

But that gets you nowhere! The healthy herd will always follow the same old paths. It takes the sick calf to break new ground...

Open your mind to the infinite universe!
