Seems like I've heard kinder talk about the older Louisiana port as well.

Going to be big business if they land Europe and throw out restrictive legislation.

It's time America goes to work in the fossil fuel business!

The environmentalists and ESG have gone too far, The hype has been overplayed.

Been saying that for years. It will take all sources and the free market should drive the progress.

No other country except Europe have made the transition based on hope and hype.

It always takes longer!

Going to be big business if they land Europe and throw out restrictive legislation.

It appears that with Biden pledging more natural gas to Europe, it now becomes apparent that LNG is a long term business. Now if we can just create enough to ship to both Europe AND ASIA - which was our best customer prior to the Ukraine invasion, we'll see great growth in LNG to the World.

It might even help the World to reduce their carbon footprint like the US has.

Say it's not so. the greenies will like natural gas - now that's a paradigm shift in reasoning.

NAH Couldn't be.

But I'll take the price action - midstream are now cool!

Kinder Morgan tops profit estimates on higher jet fuel, LNG volumes

(Reuters) -Kinder Morgan Inc surpassed Wall Street estimates for first-quarter profit on Wednesday as strong demand for jet fuel and natural gas boosted volumes at the U.S pipeline operator.

Exports of U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Europe have hit record levels after Moscow's invasion of Ukraine as the European Union tries to cut its dependence on Russian energy.

That has come as a boon for U.S. pipeline operators, with Kinder Morgan - which transports nearly half of the natural gas in the country - posting a 2% rise in volumes of the commodity.

The company expects the trend to continue, saying that its present LNG export facilities would likely run at capacity for the foreseeable future.

"The U.S. will be a major supplier of additional LNG to Europe to replace at least in part Russian gas," Executive Chairman Richard Kinder said on a call with analysts.

The results for the January-March quarter also got a boost from the resurgence in air travel, with volumes of jet fuel transported surging 38%.

But net income attributable to the company fell to $667 million, or 29 cents per share, from $1.41 billion, or 62 cents per share, a year earlier. Last year, the company had benefited from a winter storm that boosted demand for natural gas and electricity.

Excluding that impact, earnings per share rose 17%, the company said.

On an adjusted basis, Kinder Morgan earned 32 cents per share, beating the average analyst estimate of 29 cents per share, according to Refinitiv IBES data.

Hi miraje,

So far an earnings beat and better guidance is moving the stock upward.

Both the 50 ema and 200 ema have been crossed up over and a nice Vortex crossover has occurred as well.

20's coming our way?

Hi Bob,

20's coming our way?

Touched there briefly last month. Be great if it were to get up there again and stay above 20. Nice divi in the meantime, and it's one of my largest holdings..

Regards, JB
