don't mean to butt into a two way conversation here, but it is a public thread after all. Question for you. Why does GZ's comment make you uncomfortable, but Honey Bee's behavior does not? She has acted in an incredibly irrational manner and GZ has been the most vocal on it, but he certainly has not been the only one. She started in on me, just because I wasn't quick enough to figure out all the rules she has for posting on her thread. She has a Dictator's instinct when it comes to Free Speech and she manages her thread like an Echo Chamber. Many of the posters over there are afraid of her banning them so much that they will stop posting to people who have elicited her displeasure. In addition, you haven't seen all the PMs that were flying around. I've been privy to a few that came my way. She has implemented a fear zone and that is called slavery. I know this because I've been watching this entire thing unfold and I was in the first round of her freak out explosion. Then came all the other collateral damage from that. So I think you don't have the full picture here. Just sayin...we all blow off our steam and some of us have had quite enough of the threats, censorship, and banning that is going on from both the left and the right. What's crazy with HB is that we're all pretty much conservative and have more in common than differences. So she went a little wacky this time around. |

It is not a politically oriented thread and is very small and mostly technically focused on inflation and the economy and stocks. My thread was never competition to anyone. I told her that the only reason I redirected was to take things that would potentially be offensive to her off her thread, so I wouldn't violate her rules. She will never believe this, but that was my only agenda. Her reaction was all out of proportion and was exactly the kind of thing I'd expect from a liberal. I mean, it's like I dropped a piece of food on her kitchen floor and she pulled a nuke on me. It was all out of proportion to an honest mistake of mine. In fact, I shouldn't call it a mistake, because I did nothing wrong. I was just trying to do the polite thing. That reaction from her was truly bizarre enough, but then she went wacko on GZ and a bunch of other people who pointed out to her that I did nothing wrong. I've only seen that kind of behavior on the extreme leftwing lib threads. She demanded absolute conformity of thought and loyalty to herself even as she was acting in a demonstrably wrong and infantile way for no discernible reason.
I think why all this matters now is that many of us are really tired of the threats, censorship, and bullying of conservatives on these threads and out in the real world. We pride ourselves on being free and independent and we don't like anyone trying to be our master, whether it is a leftwing Socialist or rightwing bully. So the reactions are justifiably more visceral.
Honey Bee was wrong to do what she did to both GZ and to me and to the several others who she tried to bully into silence or conformity. If she would apologize to all of us, starting with GZ, then maybe Humpty Dumpty could be put back together. But how likely is that? |

She started this whole mess and she is the one who is in the wrong. But she is too full of pride and righteousness to apologize to not just GZ, but to all the others she has tried to bully into conformity and silence with her threats of banning people. Remember, we're all conservatives here and she has worked to divide us. Not good. |
