Thanks Joe,

Joyce was a great wife and mother. We had a son and daughter together that are a comfort without her.

Joyce was also better than me and I was lucky to have her in my life.

Best Always -- Josh

I am in tears now just reading this . . and the other replies to it.
WoW!
Makes me think about how special my wife is as well.
I must work harder to let her know.
Thanks! for sharing.
Words escape me now as I am blown away my the profoundness . . and I can hardly see my keys through my tears of Joy.
God Bless

Thanks, I decided a long time ago I would never re-marry. The adjustment period after losing Joyce was difficult, but my memories now are very happy of our time together. :)

TopRow -- Mache -- Kevin -- Wayne -- Melissa -- Scott
BottomRow -- Wynn -- Josh -- Joyce -- Drew -- Larry

Drew is Kevin's little brother. Kevin passed in 1995.

Picture is about 1982-83.

This is an iconic photo for me because it has Joyce and all my buddies.

Josh :)

Most in this group are my extended family from childhood because I have no siblings.

Kevin was the leader and he created a lifelong bond between our group that has lasted for decades.

RIP Kevin -- Josh

When Kevin broke his neck in a diving accident, Wayne saved him from drowning.

Kevin's grandmother adored Wayne.

I'll never forget that awful day, Josh. I know exactly where I was when you called.

This is an extraordinarily beautiful tribute.

Thanks, I've adjusted, but still dream about Joyce fairly often.

Hope your health is well following your heart surgery. -- Josh

I don't blame you one bit for those dreams. You (and Joyce) deserve them.

I'm due for back surgery next month, not heart surgery. I got three stents put in my heart two or three years ago, but that's all.

The county will have to do without me in November. I got a jury summons, but I just told them any other time next year would be fine. They wouldn't want me all doped up after surgery to pass judgment.
