Zentek Files a Provisional Patent on the use of ZenGUARD™ as an Anti-Inflammatory Agent

Guelph, ON

July 18, 2022

Zentek Ltd.
(“Zentek” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: ZTEK; TSX-V: ZEN), an intellectual property development and commercialization company, has filed a provisional patent on the use of ZenGUARD™ as an anti-inflammatory agent for dermatological conditions.

“We continue to work diligently to secure patents for our various intellectual property,” said Greg Fenton, CEO for Zentek. “This is another demonstration of how we are further commercializing our unique ZenGUARD™ technology, which is already well-researched, developed, and authorized by Health Canada for use as an antimicrobial agent on surgical masks and other PPE.”

ZenGUARD™, as a dermatological product, is currently being researched for treatment of various skin conditions, including both infectious and inflammatory conditions like acne, psoriasis, eczema, sunburn, poison ivy, warts, seborrheic dermatitis and toenail fungal infections. As reported March 10th, 2022, Zentek is conducting pre-clinical research with Vimta Labs to collect data that is required for the submission of an Investigational New Drug to the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), a requirement for the administration of new drugs in humans.

About Zentek Ltd.
Zentek is an IP development and commercialization company focused on next-gen healthcare solutions in the areas of prevention, detection, and treatment. Zentek is currently focused on commercializing ZenGUARD™, a patent-pending coating shown to have over 99% antimicrobial activity, including against COVID-19, and the potential to use similar compounds as products against infectious diseases. The Company also has an exclusive agreement to be the global exclusive commercializing partner for a newly developed aptamer-based rapid pathogen detection technology.

Thought we were passed putting biased opinion pieces on the site. Or from a content perspective, anything on this topic regardless how subtle it attempts to be.

Seems you are sliding into spewing right wing ideology Steak. Nobody is arguing that natural immunity from infection is not beneficial (if you survive lol), butt this article is decidedly anti-vaccine as shown by this and other statements/comments after the results are shown:
"Even absent these findings, vaccine mandates were dubious from the beginning. The morality of violating bodily autonomy through government coercion is a serious and dangerous matter. In light of these findings, however, vaccine mandates also appear nonsensical."
Cheers
PS The best protection is Zenguard PPE!!!

New England Journal of Medicine is hardly biased. One of the most respected health care entities in the World. Just thought the study was interesting being put out by them. Lots of other World wide studies have come up with the same results but having NEJM validate these findings is interesting. I am NOT a anti vacciner but do believe folks should have a choice to vaccinate or not to vaccinate. That is all.

Don't believe NEJM is a right wing organization. If anything they lean a bit Left. What they try not to do is politicize their studies.

Did you even read the whole article Steak? I am not doubting the studies, it is the anti vaccine stuff after which I have an issue with and has no place here. And I never said the NEJM is right wing!!! They are a scientific organization and not some nutjob group like it appears this website belongs to.
Enough!!!

Just referring to the study George. Others opinions in the article do not matter to me. Free Country and everyone can have an opinion. The study is science and opinions are like belly buttons, everyone has one.

Last post on this.

So why not post the study itself if you are so motivated to share your interests. Rather you chose to share a piece using as cover the NESM and it's Omicron specific study. Really, bodily autonomy vs public health (women's health). Sure just all belly buttons, no issues, no pots being stirred.
