It's on every day for over 12 hours. So far so good. Samsungs seem like they need a little more settings adjustments to get the picture optimized.....I don't mean professional calibration. Just fiddling with the settings.
Also have a year old 55" Vizio in the living room. I like both sets, but we rarely use the Vizio.
One thing I did, and hope not to have to use...Square Trade's warranty plan. I'm not sure what the hoops are that one might have to jump through to get their warranty honored satisfactorily, but I've read good things about them.
Look for coupons online...they regularly offer % off coupons.
