many countries of the world are still behind in development

many cultures are so different they will always seem 'behind' us

we are the melting pot of the world, we carry a different aura, a genuine blend of almost every country in the world

we have grown at an astonishing rate

Americans are outgoing and friendly, hard working, question authority, wealthy by world standards, generous, always in a hurry, spirited, determined, informal, use a kidding brand of humor few other cultures understand

having said that, cultural differences and social customs aside, human rights and civil freedoms are the right of each person on this planet

It is sort of rare for me these days. Growing up in the country with one TV channel, it was a weekly event. Nowadays, it is a social thing when it comes down to the wire. Other than tennis, I probably don't watch more than a dozen games a year in all sports combined...
