Zax, the videos look great. Has anyone expressed a need for mobile text alerts?

Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) has already become the overall leader of the tablet market. With an iPad Mini priced at $249, the company could trounce its competitors. That's according to IHS iSuppli analyst Rhoda Alexander, who told CNET that if Apple wants to "crush the opposition,

Message Viewer

The message preview list interface is complete; I have started to implement the full message browser in SI4WP. The video below shows navigation from message to message... this is a rough first cut.

Now implemented: Subject browsing improvements. This demo video shows

A) Return to most recent post by clicking topic header.
B) Scrolling message by message
C) Following a specific message thread through message options.

Just a few of the enhancements this week.

I don't like the low quality video playback that YouTube provies, so I've uploaded this latest demo video to Screencast this time instead.

Progress video: 9/8/2012

Let me know what you think. Looking for beta testers soon...

This weeks SI4WP progress log video shows the following features and enhancements to Silicon Investor for Windows Phone:

- Faster launch time
- Forum and Subject navigator
- Settings interface
- Message synopsis browser (scrollable through entire board history)
- Message Browser (also scrollable through all board posts)
- App Navigation menu within the Message Browser
- Message Options
--- Threaded message navigation through options (in reply to / view replies)
--- Expandable / collapsible extended message options
- Tap and hold to "Add Subject to Favorites" or "Set as Startup Subject"

High resolution video with high quality audio via ScreenCast (recommended viewing with browser maximized)

YouTube low-resolution, low bit-rate audio below. I recommend checking the ScreenCast link above with browser maximized so you can actually get a feel for the app, although I did record at 75% resolution.

Thanks for the feedback; you will observe that it was in fact incorporated.

Side note: This production was made entirely with tools available for free:

- Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Express (free download from Microsoft)
- Microsoft Windows Phone 7.1 Emulator/SDK (free download from Microsoft)
- Camstudio on Sourceforge (Amazing app... and free with source code)
- Windows Movie Maker (included with Windows!)
- Application graphics created in Paint.Net (free download) and Paint (included with Windows)
- Google Youtube
- ScreenCast

Simply amazing, huh?

Feedback, as always, appreciated.
