I own a pretty good chunk of it also, unfortunately at a higher price. I have no idea what they can accomplish. What is next? The Supreme Court? Ridiculous. It is a done deal. Ken

Have my eye on selling some DCP-B now it has risen to $25.25/7.80%. Only reason is to flip some shares to TGE at 9.11%. Perhaps RA at 10.35% but have to look into this more.

Hoping MLPQ will decline more than ex-div of $1.13 today. I'd have to add a few.

MTBCP hanging out at almost $26. Usually this is a sell around here, and wait for the next secondary.................Xot

AT&T CEO on CNBC this morning.. Although, he kind of expected the merger appeal he doesn't have much of an opinion on why. won't comment on political reasons and said it will be costly but he is accepting it. I'm thinking, WHAT??!.. what about us shareholders of the common stock, debentures, notes, etc.. hope I'm wrong but I'm afraid the needle won't move much on the common for quite awhile. For those of us who bought on the higher side, all we have are the dividends, which I also hope is safe.

GL to us holders..

Your tough on your preferreds issuing a sell call on DCP-B with a 7.80% yield. DCP is looking good they just refinanced 9.75% with a new issue priced at 5.375% and GS issued a buy rating on the common. Also, the preferred is being added to the preferred stock index.

I am holding and will probably look to add to my position

As a taxpayer, customer, and shareholder, I guess I'll be subsidizing this
stupidity. Yuck.

Otoh, I'm not an attorney but I thought appeals had to be based on a judicial
error of some kind? No?

Downgrade by BAML. The shorts must be loving it.

I am long ATT too.

Appeals of rulings are common as dirt. The government is saying that the judge got it wrong, so they are appealing to a three judge panel at the court of appeals.

ATT (IMHO) jumped the gun on completing the merger. They should have waited until after the appeal period had passed or the gov. said they wouldn't appeal. I think ATT just thought the Trump administration, being fairly pro-business in general, would just walk away. That was a big gamble to take, especially because ATT then did something colossally stupid (from a PR perspective if nothing else) because they had told the judge this transaction would be good for consumers, wouldn't result in higher prices, etc., - then ATT announced they were jacking up prices on DirectTV just a couple of days later. Like they were thumbing their noses at the government and the court.

The gov. can ask (and the court can order) that the companies "unmerge". It isn't common, but it happens. I have been involved in a couple of Unacquisitions/unmergers in my career. Very ugly.

BDCL--15.5% approximate dividend.

If you believe the economy is stable to growing, then adding BDCL might be an idea here. Traded ex-div today. Might be a good time to add

David
