KOOYF / KTN.V

Kootenay has been working at aggregating properties while trying to build a dominant controlling position in one of Canada's historic silver mining districts... for years and years... but it never has seemed likely that it was going to succeed in anything other than squatting on dead historic mines until the money ran out...

But, they've QUIETLY been making good progress in advancing their interests over time...

Last week... Eric Sprott rolled in on it for $5 million Canadian ... and shares have doubled already...

Seems now they've got a property they're working on in Mexico, too...

I might have bought a few shares to tuck away some years back... when it was trading for only a few pennies. Charts now suggest there must have been a reverse a while back ?

Success in exploration leading them to development... will take a lot more than $5 million... but, if the drought in gold and silver investment is finally over, in fact... and perhaps we're still early, here, and well ahead of the wave that comes along lifting all boats... when everyday Joe decides he needs to put what's left of his money in gold and silver shares ? Lots of upside potential left here... IF we've finally turned the corner in mining.

In the U.K., more important than the immediate impact... are bigger implications of the tactics:

The left and "remain" supporters... want to both require and prevent a Bre-x-it deal...

Remainders perfidious obstructions... both of the will of the voters... of deal-making efforts... and of the legitimate function of democratic government... should now become the focus on the election...

Parallels with Democrats in the U.S. are getting harder to ignore... here with the extremes in the excesses in partisan interests clearly crossing some bright lines, not only in fundamental "fairness" but in the law... leading to the parallel in the equivalent in politics to war crimes... with political operations being conducted well outside the sphere of the legitimate... well into and beyond the extra-legal and extra-Constitutional boundaries of legitimacy.

The common thread is the total lack of legitimacy in the opposition efforts... using win at all costs tactics which, whatever the outcome, end destructively, by fundamentally undermining the legitimacy of the government.

When there is a proper recognition of that... problem... and the nature of its origins... things will begin to get really ugly...

Fresnillo - MAG

Looking like I called the swap there just about right, with FNLPF now back up to where it was back in May... but with silver prices now moving high enough that larger producers should start to see some larger bottom-line impacts in real business terms, by year end, with far more impact for producers than will occur for those whose fortunes still depend on future events leading to future production... that difference in the MAG-Frenillo pairing will create one or two more opportunities to time a trade that's amazingly predictable... as MAG's interest gets closer to being a share of actual production.

From here, IF Fresnillo succeeds in solving the problems that have dogged them, and that has them still meeting their annual targets, as they say they will... you should see the shares play catch-up with the rest of the market that has already run out ahead of them...

Silver is hugely outperforming gold, right now, but to see it match gold on a 10 year chart it would have to be around $24 now... or, on a 15 year chart it would have to be around $30...

Silver TENDS to be more volatile... with a factor of around 5/3 versus gold... gold going from $500 to $1500 while silver goes from $10 to $50... but with gold "sticking" more than silver does... silver also leads lower with prices that fall faster and farther, too, when they decline.

The gold silver ratio was over 93 in July... now has plunged down to 81 in a "falling knife" chart... but the lows in the ratio at the peak in gold and silver prices back in 2011 were down around 32... which today would again mean a silver price spiking up to $48...

I accidentally allowed YouTube to wander off, this afternoon, from showing me content that's actually useful and interesting, to the pure propaganda bullshit spewing out of MSNBC...

Holy crap...

They're STILL harping on Trump-Russia... making Trump out to be a dictator worse than the real ones in the prior century, and still acting as Putin's advocate, with Trump seeking to help Putin subvert western liberal democracy...

The divisions between reality and the perceptions of the insane left wing loonies... are GROWING... not settling down with the failure of their insanity to gain traction...

Now, they're harping on him being LITERALLY insane... suffering from dementia... etc., etc. while still advancing a need to resist... to prevent him from succeeding in those things we intentionally elected him to succeed in.

Having been proven wrong... having shown us they're committing the political equivalent of war crimes... murdering the truth... the left won't quit without a war...

They're going to get one, I'd guess... with the odds increasing that their persistent lies will result in violence...

In Herd Mentality We Trust

I'm MOPING about it here today:

The truth in my re-titling of this article I've linked is clearly apparent in many instances... that idea of MOPE obviously being the core of the manipulation of public behavior in the instance of "global warming"... cum "climate change"... as it is being used as a driver of "choices" being offered the minions in the fictionalization of primary public policy.

Is it election fraud... when the very basis in the ideas that the election is based on are a fraud ?

"The narrative"... is a lie.

The surest possible sign that something that you know exists... is being suppressed in order to prevent the emergence of some larger awareness... is a web search that ends with "Sorry, there are no results for this search."

Almost every search you could conceive of... if there are no relevant results... will still deliver reams of garbage that "might be close" for reasons in the logic of the web magic that you can't comprehend. Low probability is no obstacle to the delivery of masses of meaningless "hits" delivered up by search engines.

A search engine giving nothing in reply... requires a deliberate effort to deliver nothing.

Not all that long ago there were "insider" discussions visible on the web... academic papers... economists discussing public policy... financial system gurus... even me... talking about MOPE.... management of performance expectations. MOPE was then acknowledged as the primary driver of Fed policy... and it was Fed insiders driving the discussion. You can easily enough see that MOPE remains an idea that is at the core of government and Fed policy today... although the inconvenient truthiness of the name as MOPE had them re-label it first as something less obvious... and then work to scrub all awareness of the idea from the web.

Search for MOPE today... and at first you get non-random misdirection into "employee performance" related items. Remove that distraction with narrowing and focusing... and you get.... "Sorry, there are no results for this search."

My web search string: finance MOPE "management of performance expectations" -employee

The null result... doesn't mean there's nothing there... it often means the results you want are being hidden from you.

Pay no attention to the man behind the screen... Do what the Fed wizard directs you to do...

MOPE... is the idea that people's choices in behavior aren't based on truth... but on belief... so that lying to people and convincing them a thing is true is just as good, in eliciting a desired behavior or response, as having that thing be true. Lying isn't a new idea. Being convincing as an necessary element in selling a lie isn't a new idea either. The only thing new here... is the legitimization of lying as the core of public policy.

Our entire financial system... is built on "trust"... which the financial system insiders and their acolytes in government have been working to detach from any rational connection to reality... for a long time. The "rules" implemented after the Great Depression... that were intended to prevent fraud and restore "trust" that they destroyed then... have all been repealed. The markets are no longer safe today. Fraud rules. Banks are no longer safe. Their wealth depends on you not knowing that... and on them sustaining the ability to lie to you... and to get you to continue making them wealthy by having you believe the lies they use to have you behave in the ways they prefer.

The emperor might not be wearing clothing... but refusing to go along with the deluded herd in accepting the lies of officialdom... also has a storied history. As many "climate deniers" well know. Perhaps the truth will out in time. Expect no apologies when it does. But, meanwhile... the market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent... which undoubtedly has a corollary in some parallel relationship between the emperor's interest and your survival... about which Seth Rich and Jefferey Epstein might willingly testify... if.. you know...

It is true that you can delude others... even delude yourself... and induce behavior in result that CAN become "self fulfilling prophecy"... That''s also the core, or even the entire idea, behind things like "self help" advocacy... positive reinforcement of more positive choices through repetition... improving yourself by feeding yourself messages that induce and sustain positive thinking... which counter intrinsic self skepticism, or defeatism... The same thing often defines success or failure in competition... belief being necessary to sustain the effort required in working to win... refusing to fail... never giving up.

A quick search for "behavior modification mantra" gave me: 60 Personal Mantras That Inspire the Courage to Overcome Fear and Change Your Life And: Understanding What Makes Behavior Modification Work Some ideas to keep in mind for maximizing the effectiveness of behavioral plans.

Naturally, the articles you will tend to find out there with searches like that... will tend to focus on the positive aspects of the idea... not on the uses and abuses that are equally as possible were someone out there trying to use these same concepts nefariously... as in the form of propaganda... to manipulate others in ways that couldn't be understood either as beneficial or in those others self interest..

In either case... there are limits.

One view of limits has been popularized as You Cannot fool All of the People All of the Time

Other obvious limits exist... as in... whether under the influence of hallucinogens or not, or in a trance induced by religious zeal... you might well convince yourself that you are able to fly. Belief that you can fly... might well prove true... if you properly perceive that limits exist, and follow up on the affirmation of the belief by going out and earning a pilot's license. Or, it might not... if you follow up on the belief by testing the validity of the persistence of gravity more directly by leaping off the roof of a tall building.

Between those two inputs on limits... there are also questions of morality and fundamental legitimacy that must be addressed... if we care about the truth, and wish to advance policy based in truth, rather than simply acting to elicit behaviors that succeed in manipulating others to advance our own interests over theirs... which, in truth, is done as a convenience in order to obviate the need to resort to the use force in order to coerce their cooperation.

When the mask finally does come off... the gloves will tend to come off with it... as we see evolving now in the instance of the facade of tolerance evaporating in Hong Kong.

But, the derision of the crowd when the truth is exposed... cannot be ignored... and it is more powerful.
But here, thus far, that's not been working out too well, in addressing Antifa ? Who funds Antifa ? Why won't the media tell us ? Answering that might also well answer the questions some are asking... about why the DOJ is still protecting Hillary Clinton and bad actors in the DOJ and FBI... rather than seeking to ensure justice is done.

Global warming "science" ? Science, when it is not corrupted... is the pursuit of truth... not the pursuit of relative advantage enabled through the creative manipulation of "relative" truth.

Politics ? Journalism ?

Is there anything that is not corrupt, today ?

Free Hong Kong. Free Tibet. Free the Uyghurs. But, also, Free the United States... from the same globalist cabal that empowers the tyranny that rules China... which is the same narrow financial self interest that rules the world with its lies.

“When the law no longer protects you from the corrupt, but protects the corrupt from you – you know your nation is doomed.”
- Ayn Rand
