Big batteries are getting bigger and smarter, and doing things fossil fuels can’t do

My comments:

Over the next four to five years Tesla will eventually be manufacturing all of its cells internally.

Just more vertical integration.

Storage is the big gorilla opportunity for Tesla.

I’m thankful to Musk for TSLA stock price... but also for SpaceX, a reason to be proud of the USA.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Toscana, the ship carrying Giga Shanghai’s Europe-bound Model 3 vehicles, has finally arrived in Zeebrugge, Belgium. The Tesla ship carried about half of the 7,000 Made-in-China Model 3s that Giga Shanghai exported to Europe late last month.

Tesla ship tracker Morten Grove reported Toscana’s arrival at Zeebrugge. “Toscana the first ever Tesla-Ship from China has arrived in Zeebrugge with MIC Model 3 SR+ onboard for Europe,” he tweeted. Grove also noted that Toscana made port next to Grand Aurora, a ship that carried refresh Model 3s from Tesla’s Fremont Factory in the United States....

11:42 AM Barron's

Tesla stock is up about 46% since the S&P index committee said it would add Tesla to the S&P 500 on Dec. 21. Traders have bid up shares in anticipation of the tens of billions of dollars worth of Tesla stock index funds will be buying on or around that date.

Investors and traders have been following the S&P indexation ever since Tesla reported a second-quarter profit, which qualified the company for inclusion.

Barron's panned an idea that Tesla stock could rise 60% on S&P inclusion like Yahoo!'s entry back in 1999. It feels shocking, but Tesla stock actually might pull a Yahoo!

The S&P is going to have to dump more than a few companies. There is your short folks... if you can figure which ones.
