Interesting stats. AMD has 50% of GPU unit sales at German Mind Factory.

That's a nice bullish case. The author seems to be familiar with lot of the details.

I wonder how the Supercomputer installations get recorder. I was thinking mostly in Q4 but we may get some benefit this Q.

I think this revenue will be quite profitable, because R+D expenses for them have likely already been absorbed.

But unlike last time, AMD was at this height, Xilinx is some $20-25 higher. That was a great (but short) window to get into XLNX.

That's quite a run up. But Xilinx is trailing a bit again today...

I wonder if Lisa is going to get asked about the Xilinx deal in the CC today. AMD has said all along they expect to close before the end of this year. There are now only 2 months left, they should have a reasonable idea if its going to close within the year or not. If they say things are looking positive but they kick the date further out into 2022, then that could be a major downdraft on the stock tomorrow morning, independent of how good the numbers are.

Yup, short calls really hurt during the run-up.

I bought back the half of the short side of my AMD-XLNX spread. I wish I bought them all back...
