To: LoneClone who wrote (131) | 11/8/2010 9:57:10 AM | From: shakes | | | I have referred back down thread to posting #117 by Zoo York several times; his conclusions mesh with everything else I've DD 'ed ref. IPT. And the kicker is we've got a big move in POS underway.
So, I'm holding.
And
Thanks for all your hard work on the news thread.
regards, Shake |

To: shakes who wrote (133) | 11/8/2010 4:59:21 PM | From: LoneClone | | | I am very very happy to see IPT finally break out, but it still has a long long way to go to catch up the recent moves by my other silver stocks like USA, BCM, EDR, and FVI.
I've been holding long enough to remember the long period the pps was stuck just under $2. Let's hope we can blast right through that overhead once it gets there.

From: zoo york | 11/18/2010 12:19:21 PM | | | | I spoke with Fred Davidson this morning to try and get a piece of the PP. The deal is already fully subscribed, mostly by institutional money so I may be out of luck. But I did get a chance to ask a lot of questions about the status of the operations.
Further to some of the discussion posted here earlier, Fred plans to develop Capire/Aurora starting with a smaller operation just targeting the high grade, near surface part of the deposit. He thinks they can access ore with average grades of 300 g/t silver that is just a few metres below surface, and make money on a small scale. The second phase of development will involve an intense drilling program to outline a larger resource that is more base metals rich, and then upgrade mining and processing to a goal of 2000 tpd.
I mentioned the cost issues and Fred says they have expectations down to the penny on what their costs will be, and he is confident they can make money on a small scale start up.
Meanwhile, the current mining is running about 400 tpd through the mill and Fred thinks they could hit maximum capacity of 500 tpd within a few months. I think this will help to generate a strong improvement on the bottom line as this increased production level can be achieved for an entire quarter.
The PP will raise enough cash to pay for the new development plus the additional exploration work. This will help the company accelerate growth by several years from what they could achieve just on funding generated organically. But it will also bring in some institutional support that will help to market the story, which is something that IPT has been lacking in the past.
I think improving financial results, stronger growth, and more analyst coverage, are three factors that can rapidly increase the share price. I have been long IPT for many years and it is my largest holding.

To: Wade who wrote (136) | 12/1/2010 11:58:54 AM | From: Sleepman | | | I have held this for years and wondering what the heck is going on. I do think it is worth much more than this, but such a move is a big surprise given the past with this stock! Any comments from Zoo York are appreciated, as he has been quite knowledgable about it in the past.

To: Sleepman who wrote (137) | 12/1/2010 1:05:45 PM | From: zoo york | | | Some people on my forum beleive that NIA has included IPT on its list of 7 recommended silver stocks. IPT seems to fit the clues that were issued, regarding a market cap of less than $70 million for a silver producer. I do not know if that is the reason but I have felt for a long time that IPT was deeply undervalued relative to its peers and that some kind of rapid increase in share price was warranted.
I am actually selling some stock into this rally. I own a large chunk in my PF and bought a bit more in the PP recently, but these impressive reccos tend to have a short shelf life and perhaps the stock will retrace somewhat before the next uptrend can really be supported. Longer term, with the extra cash in hand to fund another mine development, plus ongoing exploration work, I think the stock will trade far higher.
