Looking at the recent action in the markets, China related weakness appears to be the biggest drag at this point holding back the market from a more dynamic rally. Some bold actions from Chinese authorities to rev up growth would be a nice boost of rocket fuel for the bullish scenario, and I think it will be coming sooner rather than later... Already subtle shifts are happening behind the scenes.

Let's hope this call is as prescient as his other recent calls.

Shorting crude 2 day off the low print of the year.

And this call going short the Yen at the exact day of low print for the year...

Zman: LOL!!! And it looks like he sold at the low last Thursday. Yet he keeps getting himself on TV; the commentators are just as brainless.

You made my day with that one ... :)

I'm ready for a big upday out of nowhere - no real news, no good surprise. Just one of those where-did-that-come-from big updays that are the signature of a bull market. One of those will confirm the new-high-breakout from a week ago.

Bring it on!

Hi H1,

I agree.

Think this morninigs drop ended an irregular flat requirement and nice bounce that could well surprise us with a big run:

This is the same (daily) chart I posted a couple of weeks ago .................

but now updated. You'll see that the dashed-white guiding line which was our support has now become our resistance. We need to get past it. This line may not look like much but it is a key diagonal.

I'd like to think that we are headed for a touch of the dashed-maroon line.
