Glad to hear Clint is alive and well. He made a lot of very astute real estate purchases in the Carmel/Mendocino area back in the day, and owns several homes up and down the Cali coast, in the desert and in HI. His kids are going to be instant multi-millionaires when he passes.
Evidently he was quite the philanderer in his youth. He winked at me when I was in a food line at lunchtime on Highlands Mt in Aspen…I was only 20.
I've loved him ever since, but I'm sure glad I didn't wink back. ;) |

He has some detractors, but he makes a compelling argument. He's a former prosecutor, I don't think he would arrive at his conclusion lightly. amazon.com
I hope you at least smiled back when Clint winked. :)
I had a brush with Hollywood when Candice Bergen patted me on the head and said "what a cute little boy." I don't remember it, I was four. That's what my mom tells me. |

At last count, Clint Eastwood has 8 kids by 6 different women, at least officially, so I believe you!
He reportedly refuses to confirm his exact number of offspring. Even his biographer has stated the number is "indeterminate." |

To: Zen Dollar Round who wrote (17918) | 5/12/2024 12:47:50 AM | From: Neeka | | | It was confirmed he was the father of a young girl, who discovered she was his daughter during a genealogy search. Up to that point, he hadn't known she existed. I believe he also found out years later that a woman he'd had an affair with, gave birth to his child and never told him, so it could be 10?
Eastwood was very astute. He and James Garner together bought several hundred acres of land in Carmel back in the late '50s. They each also bought themselves homes on huge parcels of land in the Monterey/Carmel area. Eastwood continued to invest in local real estate for years, at times buying hundreds of acre parcels at a time. There were some donations of property made to various entities along the way, preserving that part of the Cali coast for eternity.
If he'd not gone into acting, he'd still have come out of it all a multibillionaire. |

Just sorry the constant musical score was so distracting we couldn't finish the movie. |

I get out of work at 3:30, for some reason I felt like I had to post before I signed out. What's the rush? Could have waited until I got home...that's what I get for goofing off at work.
My parents were on an ocean liner and Edgar Bergen was the entertainment. He had his daughter in tow, Candice was fourteen. So I guess I never had a brush with Hollywood, this would have been her pre-Hollywood period.
Aren't you glad I cleared that up? |
