But the key measurement here is the debt maturity and low interest rate. The large cash reserve easily covers short term obligations. And the overall ratio of debt to equity is lower than average for this type of company, and about in line with what are considered normal levels of debt. This is in contrast to several years ago, when QCOM had no long term debt, and as a result, a poorer than average return on assets. In fact, the rather disappointing performance of the stock for several years reflected the conservative management mindset – virtually no debt. And at the same time, the issuing of more stock in bits and pieces to QCOM management, increased the total number of shares, diluting earnings per share.

Thanks, but I'm just curious if anyone here knows QCOM's net cash (cash per share minus debt per share) per share off hand? I know I can go look up the income statement and balance sheet and calculate it myself, but then, what's the internet for.
