UConn (home team here in CT) caught a big break avoiding Duke in the Final Four but they promptly lost to LSU (whose long home winning streak they broke earlier in the season) tonight.
Compare the UConn woman's coach, Geno Auriemma, to Roy Williams. Back when the UConn woman's team was blowing out their Big East competition by 30+ points a game, I recall coach Auriemma being asked what he tells his team at half time when they are up by 20. He said he tells them there is no reason why they shouldn't win by at least 40.
The point being I can't understand why a coach would tell their kids to go into the equivalent of a prevent defense in football: slow the pace down, take time off the shot clock, and wait for the perfect shot. But that's what it looks like NC did against Georgetown. I give Roy all the credit in the world for his recruiting, getting kids prepared, etc. but I've never seen a coach so blatantly bad managing big games.
LSU kept coming at UConn even with a Kansas size lead midway in the second half. I give them credit. Oh well.

If UCLA beats Florida, I eliminate J Conley (and Mike Skyy) as I'll have picked up 18 points and we both have the same team (Ohio State) winning it all. But for me to pass Filo, Ohio State has to win it all. However, I expect UCLA to have a big defensive letdown against Florida once they hit the road so to speak. The key for Florida is getting a reasonable lead early.
The reason I've gone with seeded scoring is that it rewards you for picking an underdog that advances further than expected. It's always a fun challenge to find these teams so why not profit from it? Adding in seeds is essentially like factoring in the spread on games, and thus makes it much more fair if you pick an underdog and win.

Barton had gotten to the finals when Atkinson drained a 3-pointer in OT at the buzzer. Prior to that, they had survived a one point win.

With all the buzzer-beaters, OTs, and crazy plays, luck plays just as big a role as skill, IMO. But that's why watching and handicapping the games is so fun.
