and here I sit mentally driven to distraction trying to find some good short..
were there a means to short downtown Dallas, that I would do.
the Dallas Morning News had a great front page story a couple of weeks ago concerning the large danger (dam is now the the 8th most dangerous in the country) from Lewisville Lake flooding.
it basically said WHEN, not IF, the dam ruptures downtown Dallas will be inundated with 50ft of raging water and over 400K folks will be displaced/dead...... event will be the greatest natural disaster to ever hit the USA .... many many times larger than the New Orleans hurricane disasters and will be 250 times the size of the largest dam break in the country.
front page pics of the massive hole/damage to the front of the dam and boilover flats behind the dam indicate grave danger
however, Core of Engineers says they have put a tarp over this 160ft (looks like a BIG bomb crater) hole in the dam face....
have errands to do whilst I mull over my upcoming short entry here on the thread

haven't been doing much at all in the past year or so, but I'm leaning towards the shorties fitting better for me on this forum
for example, I've been looking at CYBR for a while .... wanted to short it with a wee position when the precipitous drop happened in late Aug ... watched it until mid Nov and really wanted to go short right before it dropped wildly again ...
not being able to get in and out here on Picks precluded me from shorting close to mkt open this morning (would've shorted at 47.4)... news that Checkpoint is gonna buy them drove the price up quickly as this market is desperate for ANY good news and reacts on it...... I'm wary and feeling short is the place for me on Picks
