Minimal selling on TUO as I think it's the better long term play ..... I booked $96,000 gains on Tudor.

Of course in hindsight selling TUO over $4 would have been smart. But I'll live with it.

As an aside, I'm sitting on 100% paper gains with SVG. I did sell some at $0.31, bought most back at $0.18 currently at $0.19

I am holding a full TUO position but do trade a portion at times. This has been my longest term spec hold by far and pre dates me joining SI. Been some wicked up and downs along the way.
Right now i see AMK as under valued in comparison with TUD and TUO so have been buying AMK at .175 or lower for short term trading so as not to tamper too much with my longer term TUO holdings.

Mnera Alamos aka MAI provided an update from their newly operating Santana heap leach gold mine in Mexico. Production is currently from the Nicho Norte deposit, and they reported positive results both from deep drilling under the Nicho Norte pit and from the main Nicho deposit, scheduled for future production. Mineralization remains open both at depth and to the south. The company also gave us details about the various optimization programmes underway at Santana.

Norsemont Mining aka NOM has been on probation for me for a while due to the lack of progress on bringing Choquelimpie back into production. A write-up in the latest IKN newsletter reminded me of this, so I took advantage of today's jump to get out with a 50% loss, alas in a tax-sheltered account.

Speculators can't win them all...

Savile has become more gloomy about gold's short term prospects because the PoG closed the month under its 21-month moving average (blue line). He is still be very positive about a major rally in the first half of 2022, but warns about the possibility of much lower prices before then.

I just hope it doesn't repeat the crash we saw in 2013.

He also warns about the possibility of HUI hitting new intermediate term lows before year end.

Sandstorm Gold Royalties aka SSL released one of their usual very short quarterly sales updates. We already knew sales were going to be down from Q2, but I didn't expect them to drop all the way to 15500 oz Au. We'll have to wait to find out why and to see if they will be maintaining their guidance for 2021.

Northern Shield Resources aka NRN released a short PR saying the drill campaign in their Root & Cellar Au/Ag/Cu prospect in Newfoundland has begun., with no new information included. Can these guys finally find something after a string of failures? Notice how we never hear anything about Shot Rock any more...

Message 33516979

Impact Silver aka IPT released results from an underground development drilling program in the Lipton area of their Guadalupe Mine in the Royal Mines of Zacualpan District, Mexico. IPT currently gets 50% of its ore from the Guadelupe mine, where mining is documented all the way to 1529. The headline intercept is 691 g/t Au over 1.29m, indicating IPT's geologists are getting a better handle on the extensive veining in the area. It's nice to see this company finally spending some money on a new drill and infrastructure development, and that it is yielding results.

Golden Goliath Resources aka GNG released yet another PR regarding the potential for a discovery at their Kwai gold prospect in Ontario. The most recent drill programme was designed to follow up anomalous gold values, albeit measured only in ppb, but this time we don't even get assays results. The drill programme has been halted to allow the labs to catch up on the assays, so maybe they will finally be able to report more than potential. Not holding my breath...

Sandstorm Gold was a minor miss (1.5%) - revenue of $27.6 million vs the consensus estimate at $28.02 million.

The high price of gold saved SSL this qurter. I will be interested to hear their explanation of why sales dropped so much. I am also looking forward to hearing about the FBS for Hot Maden, which they had said would be completed last month.

Riverside Resources aka RRI released an update on their La Union Au/Ag/Pb/Zn/Cu prospect in Sonora, MX. La Union provides a good example of RRI's project generator approach. They acquired the original property on the cheap from Millrock and have since used their local contacts and knowledge to gain control of other important land tenures within the project area, which now encompasses 2604 ha.

La Union covers a large area riddled with old mines and workings, and importantly, has never been subjected to modern exploration techniques. So far they have done some mapping and sampling, and will be following that up with geophysics and eventually drilling. And though they don't say it, they will also be following their usual practice of trying to find a JV partner who will pay for the work.

To get a good overview of many of RRI's various properties plus a look at associated company Capitan Mining aka CAPT, you can read a interview with KTN's CEO done by Caesar's Report at

caesarsreport.com

Wallbridge Mining aka WM releasedanother PR filled with outstanding drill results from its Fenelon gold project in Quebec, but reflecting what investors are currently focused on, the headline and much of the early paragraphs in the release are focused on the initial Resource Report for Fenelon, which will be released by the end of October. Mind you, the are continuing full speed ahead with the drilling, There are currently 11 drills operating and they expect to complete a further 45-50k of drilling by the end of 2021.

Message 33518654

Kootenay Silver aka KTN doesn't usually halt trading before releasing drill results, so you can tell they were pretty excited about today's PR about the latest drill results from their Columba polymetallic prospect in Chihuahua, Mexico. You can see why, given the headline intercepts of 2035 g/t Ag over 6m within wider intervals of 805 g/t Ag over 17m and 333 g/t Ag over 44m featuring a project high 9840 g/t Ag over 0.92m.

They seem to be defining a decent sized high grade area they are calling the JZ zone, which they have so far intersected in three holes. Needless to say, this has become the focus of exploration at Columba And that's not all; the latest drilling has extended the O Vein into new areas of the property.

At one point KTN was up 30% on the day, but it has since dropped back to a 10%+ gain on good volume.

WARNING: when I tried to access the multimedia in this release it crashed my browser and I ended up having to reboot my laptop. Maybe you'll have better luck, but ...

Don't think the FBS will be released until after the Environmental Impact Assessment is received.
Company did not say that it would be completed by end of September.

hope <> commitment

"We've always believed the Hod Maden was a permittable project that will be exceptionally profitable. And we're hoping that by the end of September, we'll have both the EIA and the feasibility study that illustrates both points".

Fair enough, but they still created an expectation. Don't worry, I'm not trying to trash the company, just going by what I have in my notes. That said, at the very least I would have liked to see an acknowledgment that the second most important event in the company's history -- next to the future announcement of the sale of their interest in Hot Maden -- has been delayed.

I understand that investors are anxious.

Q3 production was hindered by the suspension of mining activity at the Americas Gold and Silver Nevada mine.

The current news release was to inform the market on Q3 production and revenue.
A conference call will be held following the Q3 financials in a few weeks.
I expect an update on the Hod Maden project at that time; it is possible that the EIA and FBS are out by then.

It appears that some fund managers believe that SAND under usd $6 is a bargain.
