inagodadavida (sp?) by the iron butterfly was pretty crappy IMHO. but i played that one about every night when i got the album. one of my first records. i don't think anybody ever played the other side.

It's easier for me to picture Louie Prima singing it than Sinatra or the Andrews sisters. He was great with humorous tunes.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I LIKE Louie! "Angelina" is one of my all time favorites! I just can't picture the contrast there would be between his rendition and the one that I'm used to. I wonder which was the original version?

AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!! The ARCHIES!!!!I hope the members of that group were treated very poorly for the rest of their lives for subjecting us to that song! Used properly, is could have been a very inhumane form of torture. Had it been released 25 years earlier it could have fallen into the hands of the Nazi's and ended up being another charge, punishable by death, at the war crimes trials at Nuremburg. Naturally, the defendants would have said they didn't want to play it.....they were just following orders, but deep down inside they knew that their fate was sealed. Now, for sure, they had a date with the end of a rope! Btw, I HATE THAT SONG!!!!!!!!!
