Thanks Gottfried and you are very level headed, which is why I respect your opinion so much at SI.

Tips for posting at SI:
  • Keep your posts short. The more you write, the easier it is to mess up.
  • Don't lose your temper.
  • Always take the high road, no matter what.
Best to All -- Josh

Can anyone explain what is happening?

I can login, surf and post on SI, but when I go to open another website in a new tab it won't open.

This is the message I get.

Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at mynorthwest.com.

If that address is correct, here are three other things you can try:

Try again later.
Check your network connection.
If you are connected but behind a firewall, check that Firefox has permission to access the Web.

That also applies to opening any link embedded on SI. Same message. But as I say, I can surf SI all I want.

My first thought was/is my SP is manipulating how much data I can access, but is actually possible to restrict someone to opening just one website at a time?

We've been having connectivity issues for a couple of days in the town where I live.
