Repeat a lie often enough and it starts to be somewhat believed. Like when I wrote John Battelle about the DOJ and he corrected KIS's completely incorrect info, which KIS was using to trash GOOG.
I personally put him on ignore again. I think its good TraderJ is answering, and I offered to start a moderated thread if folks on here want. |

To: IHateSourCream who wrote (6831) | 1/31/2006 10:06:04 AM | From: Trader J | | | OT: HowdyIHC - I never mind a differing opinion and it is not even that much of a differing opinion as I fully understand that a response to such posts certainly to some degree incites further posting. One just has to draw their own line between responding and not .... and when such ridiculous misinformation is posted, that could reach the eyes of new investors looking for factual information, I have a short fuse. Please know that I ignore most posts and choose very carefully which ones I respond to.

To: Trader J who wrote (6840) | 1/31/2006 10:16:14 AM | From: Jill | | | They're messing with the options. GOOG is down, it's a day later, and the options I tried to get yesterday with a perfectly reasonable price right btw the bid and ask is now up 40 cents. I hate it when they do this -g. And it makes me leery of what might happen after hours. |

To: Trader J who wrote (6840) | 1/31/2006 10:19:55 AM | From: Jill | | | I started the new board:
Subject 56392
Please migrate over there. I have not banned anybody, I will first warn someone by PM, and if they ignore it, ban them, and only if they make what I consider repeatedly meaningless pumping or dumping posts, or go off topic repeatedly.
Jump in. Have fun! |

KeepITSimple says silly things, for sure. So do a lot of other people on this board. The only difference is that KeepItSimple is negative on this stock, so it bothers you more.
Bashing Brian is even more absurd. He has a point of view that you disagree with. That's it. That's what these boards are for, disagreement, debate.
The funniest thing is when somebody said that those two guys have an "agenda". Uh, hello? EVERYONE has an agenda. It's just that the people long the stock have a different agenda.
Run off to your moderated thread, aka the Positive Comments Welcomed Only thread. It won't help your investing, that's for sure. |

To: GVTucker who wrote (6843) | 1/31/2006 11:00:30 AM | From: Jill | | | I think you interpret me incorrectly. I am not even invested in GOOG at the moment--so why would I only need positive comments? KIS, when I take him off ignore to read his messages, is as insulting as possible. Brian, I stopped reading when he got involved in a political rant. I don't know what either has posted since, but if you look at the header to the new thread, it says pumping or dumping. People have been complaining and wanted a moderated thread so, I made one. They can post there or not. Just trying to be helpful. |

To: GVTucker who wrote (6843) | 1/31/2006 11:04:06 AM | From: samtrader | | | I have to agree, new board not necessary, neither warranted. If absurd comments or misinformation is posted, both positive and negative, then those posters should be challenged a couple of times and then pretty much ignored by the rest of the board. They will get tired of talking to themselves eventually, and from lacking attention from others. New investors will be able to figure things out themselves by sifting through the posts; after a while it becomes very clear who is misinformed and who isn't.
