Congrats on winning the pool this year. You might want to think about changing your alias to "Blind Squirrel", as in "even a blind squirrel..." :)

This year I invested half the $1M first prize in a soybean farm, and the other half I stored as Bitcoin. In case you haven't been following soybean futures, soybean farms are now essentially worthless... and what was left of the Bitcoin I had to use to cover the taxes. Oh well. But at least you have your pride.

We also have a post-season playoff pool. After that, it's college basketball season. My college basketball pool is going on its 21st year. Crazy. Last year's board: Subject 59937. Then it's time for Buckey's annual World Curling Championships contest. Every year it's in Canada, as it is this year, we all fly in for our traditional Canadian street-sign pole-licking contest (the last person to have their tongue stuck to the pole wins).

Super Bowl chances for all 12 playoff teams

11:56 PM ET
Seth Walder
ESPN Analytics

The 2018 NFL playoff field is set. But which team is most likely to take home the Lombardi Trophy after winning Super Bowl LIII?

Here are the projections for all 12 teams, according to ESPN's Football Power Index:

1. New Orleans Saints Super Bowl title chances: 30.5 percent

A meaningless loss on Sunday changes nothing: the Saints are FPI's favorite to win the Super Bowl, and they are also the consensus favorites at sportsbooks.

2. Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl title chances: 24.0 percent

Kansas City has the best chance to reach and win the Super Bowl among AFC teams.

3. Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl title chances: 16.8 percent

Sean McVay has his team in strong position to make a run at the Super Bowl -- if they can get by the Saints.

4. New England Patriots Super Bowl title chances: 12.8 percent

At times, it hasn't been pretty for the Patriots this year. But the simple fact that they have a bye and the Tom Brady-Bill Belichick combination on their sideline puts New England in solid position to win another ring.

5. Los Angeles Chargers Super Bowl title chances: 4.2 percent

It speaks to the quality of the Chargers that FPI thinks they are narrow favorites on the road in Baltimore, but Los Angeles has a tough path to the Super Bowl.

6. Chicago Bears Super Bowl title chances: 2.5 percent

The defense is great, but offensive deficiencies mean that FPI thinks Chicago is a long shot to reach and/or win the Super Bowl.
7. Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl title chances: 2.0 percent

With Lamar Jackson now at the helm, the Ravens have a promising future. But a Super Bowl probably isn't in the cards this year.

8. Houston Texans Super Bowl title chances: 2.0 percent

A Super Bowl run is unlikely, because FPI thinks that three other AFC playoff teams -- the Chiefs, Patriots and Chargers -- are all a good bit better than Houston.
9. Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl title chances: 1.9 percent

After their rocky start to the season, it's remarkable that the Seahawks have even a 2 percent chance to win the whole thing.

10. Indianapolis Colts Super Bowl title chances: 1.8 percent

Anything is possible with Andrew Luck and the Colts' offensive line, but a Super Bowl run will be tough this year.
11. Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl title chances: 1.2 percent

Dallas has only an 11 percent shot to reach the conference championship game, let alone the Super Bowl.
12. Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl title chances: 0.5 percent

They've beaten the odds with Nick Foles before, but it will be much harder this time around. FPI gives Philadelphia almost no shot to repeat.
13. New York Giants Super Bowl title chances: 0.1 percent

Only two NC East teams made the playoffs this year? Seriously? An anonymous source on Twitter is warning that anonymous sources in the White House are saying they are under pressure from anonymous government officiants in New York City and from classified retirement communities in Florida for an Executive Order replacing the Colts with the Giants. But talks stalled when the Colts refused to allow Andrew Luck to suit up as a Giant.

Apparently you don't understand the thread. It should be renamed The new NFL / Hotel California because:

I'd like to debate with you but his attitude didn't help this year. Rodgers has a great football mind and I'd seek his opinion as we go through the HC hiring process. That said, he needs to realize that he's an employee and his whiny little ***k attitude isn't going to go over. He got a 130+ million dollar contract - I think the least he can do is keep his mouth shut with the media

No doubt. That cocky little bastage (Mayfield) is going to be fun to watch. The kid has spunk.....I like spunk as long as it doesn't go too far
