He seems pretty bitter to me.

You gotta be kidding me. I have never been happier watching karma unfold for those stupid enough to have made moves like the following. After all that rudeness, sometimes people really get what they deserve. It is a beautiful thing.

Just picked up another bunch of VNLADs (INTC $20 2009 calls) @ $2.95

Message 22641030

Bought a very small position in VVVADs (2009 $20 AMD calls) just now with shares around $17.20. Some insurance for a 10-20X larger Intel position...

You probably aren't that familiar with options, but, well, even those calls are still trading, as of this moment, at $2.50.

But we were talking about the karma you enjoyed, as AMD fell from 42 to 7.

I have no financial stake in Intel or AMD. This is all entertainment to me and fantastic entertainment at that.

I hope you understand that $2.50 is less than what you paid for them. That is the financial monitoring I was referring to. You were so busy spamming the thread you forgot to sell and started believing your own BS.

The question is, did you have a financial stake during the fall?

You were so busy spamming the thread you forgot to sell

Just how dumb are you? Do you think I'm a day trader? Is one supposed to sell the moment an investment goes negative? Are you aware that the investment was still positive when earnings were announced, and was already negative when the option market had re-opened, had I actually wished to implement your brain-dead strategy?

Thanks for the laugh, Robert.

The last time I owned AMD they totally disappointed the Street because of flash losses, so that will tell you how long ago it was.

Is one supposed to sell the moment an investment goes negative?

No, dipshit. You should have sold when it was above $27. Even someone with your intellect should be able to see what you should have done in hindsight.

Now, you are under water and will have to pray for a run into the low-20's that my not happen prior to expiration.

I am glad you find losing money so enjoyable. You seem to be a pro at it. LOL

should be able to see what you should have done retroactively

Oh, I see your point! You've figured out that if you can make trades retroactively, you can make lots of money! Brilliant!

Let me know if you have any other major insights.

Sell your Intel calls on any run into the low-20's. If you don't, those Jan 09's will end up worthless.

You are welcome in advance.

Given that you don't seem to understand the fundamentals of options, you'll understand if I ignore your advice. :)

Dear CJ, calling someone a "liar" is definitely an insult, so I request action based on this post Message 24307294
As well as "shut up" being rather crude.

Hi guys,
I propose to reinstate mas and elmer to the mod AMD board.
Depending on your point of view, one provides good insight and the other can be ignored. Overall a plus for the board. Seems like a fair compromise for both sides. Like a spy exchange during the cold war. What say ye all??
