"Oh, it is different, Mike, it is, it is. You haven't properly absorbed the prevalent multi-culti psychobabble animating the argument. See, when the US of A or Israel doesn't obey the Geneva Conventions to the letter and grant POW status to every captured terrorist, that's a crime against civilization. But when the terrorists saw the heads off women and blow up children, they are expressing their own oppressed cultural norms. Brown oppressed people like them cannot be held to the same standard as civilized white people. That "Orientalism". That's "Colonialism". Bad, bad, bad."

Really? I never knew. (ggg)

The funny thing is that i sympathise with oppressed folks, even the pals who are victims of euro colonialism no doubt that they have turned into a war against the Jews. But when they turn to violence against innocents and pervert a great religion, its a fight to the death for me. It is for liberals too but they just expect us to roll over and die. Do liberal women really want a world of genital mutilation, burkas, stoning, dead suicide bombing children. sharia law. etc? Guilt drives these basically good folks to be stupid beyond belief. And then they wrap it all in the constitution as if there is a death wish there. Hell in WW2, innocent japanese were sent to camps by liberal FDR. Now if an arab is stopped for a speeding ticket its a civil rights issue. Mike

I've said this a few times before....it is rather stupid to keep fighting by the "Marquis of Queensbury Rules" while the other guy is kicking, biting, gouging....etc......I certainly don't advocate beating someone to death, etc....but given the nature of this kind of warfare, the coercive techniques which were approved by the Bush Administration don't seem unreasonable IMO......

Impossible for you to answer the question i posed to you, eh?. Again if torture was proved to you to work most of the time, would you then be for it?

Re: "Please spare me the bull. No one gives a damn about the 3000 who died at the trade center. As long as you are safe whereever the hell you live, you could care less. Effete intellecutals discussing how many angels on the head of a pin is what we have here at FADG."

Mike, that sentiment marks you as one of the most dangerous men in America. Dangerous because there are so many of you who feel that way.

In times of fear, anger and grief, those who are able to find the correct path are those who are still calm and intelligent enough to discuss "how many angels [can dance] on the head of a pin."

Because, morals aside, the problems which lead to 9/11 types of incidents are no longer solvable by charging into the tents, killing the squaws and bucks, and dashing the brains of the papooses out againt tree trunks. And that's true no matter how many times good but scared-angry people try to justify barbaric patterns of behavior as necessary for "self defense." Ed

PS. On another subject, Jlallen, isn't it time for you to start up again with your cryptic hints that you're a wounded combat veteran? I'm still waiting for the "attorney action hero" figure to gain in popularity. Too funny. Now why don't you stop poking sticks at smart people and leave them to discuss things intelligently before you make an utter fool of yourself again.

ROTF

LMAO

And how would you solve the al quaeda problem, Ed? We could start with the final solution of the israeli problem as well as giving the holy oil lands to al quaeda.
