Yes, but we must be able to offer our troops more security than they have now. I would rather see our soldier die in battle than be picked off transporting fuel. We must fight those guys we gave safe haven too. And we must win that fight clearly for me to agree 100% with you. We dont differ that much. mike

Input from not only the usual suspects is important too. Biden gets hyper at times but I like him alot. Maybe a place at State for him or another dem? Bush won with his base but must govern from the center or the next four years will be a horror show. Same on deficits and economy and environment. There are compromises to be made.

Of course some compromises will be made, but your basic premise is wrong. Bush did not have a solid victory and pick up seats in Congress to suddenly lurch to the middle. He must deliver for his base, or he will breed trouble.
