There is no way that the red states could tolerate Kerry's arrogance. These people all smoke a pack of Marlboro Reds and love W's swagger. Frankly, I am surprised that Kerry was able to pull out so many voters in Cuyahoga and Summit Counties. I am shocked that the urbanization of Northeastern Ohio has already delivered these counties to the Dark side.
Off of these boards, no one has time for the intellectual eliticism of the Democrats. The Democrats are only staying in the race by promising urban voters something they can't deliver - national healthcare, entitlements, higher taxes for the rich. Whatever it takes to make the urban masses that the Democrats will make someone else suffer just like them. That negativity will not work outside of the huge mass of urban voters. |

Maybe 4 years of bickering will be replaced with 4 years of solitude. Fine with me. Beyond that, the Democrats are sure to hurt their election outlook for 2008 if they do not trying to act outside of the election process to influence polling results. |

Germany has been a good ally, and Schroeder did get some trouble for Afghanistan. The only disagreement was Iraq, and it was not Schroeder who was so intent on making a lesson of it, it was Chirac. |

He will pursue whatever legal options are open to him in order to hijack more votes. That being said, I don't think the process will be as divicisive as it was in Florida since Bush has an overall majority and a 140,000 lead in Ohio. Mr. Market is not going to sell off for 6 weeks waiting some visibility on the matter. |

To: Keith Feral who wrote (150787) | 11/3/2004 10:22:56 AM | From: michael97123 | | | He has done the right thing so far. He had to be certain that he could not possibly catch bush in ohio. What if the lead shrunk overnite and there were 500k provisional ballots? He needed to do that for his voters. Now it is clear and kerry will do the right thing. Add to that the bush popular majority will make it very clear to him. Man i hope you are wrong. mike |
