Bush has leads in all 3 states - NM, IA, and OH. He has a 2 point lead over Gore(I mean Kerry) in Ohio with a 140,000 vote lead. This is not contestable. Are the Democrats going to ingore the irrefutable facts and tie this thing up in court again? If they do, they will not have a shot at the Presidency for a very long time.

Hiding behind US policy. Here are the visions that German people want the US to fulfill.

<Under the headline "Good Morning, Mr. President," Germany's mass-circulation Bild daily covered its front page with a list of expectations that included "Catch Bin Laden and stop the terror," "Finally ensure peace in Iraq" and "Push down the oil price.">

Gee, and I thought 80% of the people in Germany thought the US was following the wrong policy. Not at all. It is easier for them to hide behind US policy and use anti US rhetoric to distance themselves from the terrorists so they don't get attacked just like Sweden.

I would be aghast if I lived in Sweden and OBL made direct comments about their "model" behavior.

I wonder how long it will take to count the absentee ballots in Ohio. Good to see the Bush team taking credit for all 286 Electoral Votes they will be awarded. I hope we can get an acceptance speech by the end of the day.

I don't think he'll have the balls to do it. He should keep things tied up for a good three months, but I don't think he will.

When the ballots are all counted, the election will be over. That is how democracy works. People vote and the ballots are counted. The person with the most votes wins. The world will not come to an end if the time is taken to count the ballots. Doing otherwise, if the results of the election are in any doubt, would be a betrayal of those whose votes were not counted. Some patience and respect for the process is required.

If Mr. Kerry chooses not to accept the election results, no one is going to give any attention to the Democrat campaigns going forward. This will pave the way for a series of neocon activists on a level the left has nerver seen.

The arrogance of the Democrats is overwhelming. They can't seem to get their egos to fit back in their heads after 8 years of cigar smoking euphoria during the Clinton administration. Certainly, they must be able to relate better to the American people than the swaggering Texan they despise. However, when you look at the polling results, Kerry does not stand a chance in 80& of the precincts that are polled. He gets all of his support from urban centers with high populations. Bush would continue to build a big enough lead in all of the smaller communities throughout an entire state and watch the lead shrink back as the polls from the major cities were counted.

To have the Democrats send 1000 lawyers into Ohio to get provisional voters back on track is fine with me. I think it is distateful, just like giving out cigarettes and booze to bumbs to get them to vote. However, the provisional and absentee ballots remaining in Ohio need to be counted before a legal precedent blocks up the polling process in the court system. Florida clearly showed that the provisional votes were consistent with the overall voting pattern of the state. No significant statistical deviations.
