Buy Recommendation....

Repost from MF board.
Buckfa

AATT was recommended in Cabot Market letter this weekend -

AAVID THERMAL TECHNOLOGIES (AATT 34 OTC)
Regardless of the number of advances made by computer chip-makers, there's one constant challange to their business, keeping their chips from overheating. Aavid is the leading providr of solutions to this challange, with custom-engineered thermal amnagement products for every purpose. Aavid's designs cool Intel's Pentium II processor! As the chip industry grows, Aavid will grow, too. And there's more, in the form of Aavid's Fluent subsidiary, the
world's leading provider of computational fluid dynamics modeling software and services. In every industry where heat transfer occurs, from automotive to aeronautical to chemical, Fluent's software is highly valued. There are 6.6 million shares outstanding, with a float of just 3.1 million shares. In the second quarter, sales jumped 61% to 37.1 million, while earnings hit $.23 per share, up from $.21 in the first quarter and $.02 the year before.
The RP line is strong. Telephone 603-224-1117. BUY.

Looking for an entry point. This is a strong company, and am waiting for the short-term technical picture to clear-up before entering.

iqc.com

Hoping to get a buy signal from stochastics and RSI soon, as both are approaching an oversold condition.

i'm back in at $25.5 and pleased with the run up over last week or so.
Expecting it to be hitting it highs again ($38+) before next earnings...aavids earnings are riding on the coattails of the Pentuim II ramp.

i dont think asia probs will have any significant impact on aatt q4 earnings. pc stocks are down , but aatt's heat sink solns should
be ramping in unison with pii volume ramp.

stock has been trading mostly above $25 range since july ..
i'm not too worried about closing lower today as volume is light

i'm hopeful to see it trading at $30+ in early jan in run up
to earning announcement.
