Gary,

I agree. If you are the somewhat egocentric and autonomous founders of FORE, who do you sell to and at what cost do you give up your company?

Good questions. Don't know these guys too well, but I'm going to assume (big assumption of course) that they understand the market dynamics right now and are aware they need to partner with someone to make this a long term proposal for both themselves, their employees and the stockholders. A lot depends on current sales volumes I suppose. Still I have to believe that anything over $25 has to be seriously considered and at $30 it's a no brainer.... Of course this is only my opinion....

BTW: Why do you think PAIR is a takeover candidate. WHo would buy them and why?

Jach,

The article completely misses the point of converged networks. In effect the comments are worthless.

The confusion lies in understanding that CSCO's months and quarters do not correlate with julian months and quarters. Their months end toward the end, but not at the end,of a julian month. Their quarters are off set by one "CSCO-month". According to their theory, this gives them more attention at annoucement time and smooths out some of the seasonality quarter to quarter.

Downsouth, webmaster is probably paying our threadmoron a fee to get us all to buy the product!

I have been out of town for the weekend. We are getting a nice move this morning. Just the market, or is there any other reason?
