I guess you won't be contributing to this thread much, then? ;-)

That was rude and uncalled for. Why post in this thread if you feel that way? A wiser man would have ignored it instead of making a fool of himself. Let me guess: He suggested one of your dear stock you fell in love with as a short candidate and was right on? Do you also blame the market makers? what about analysts?

I had been using tc2000, but recently wrote a sacn with bigeasy.com and ravenquote. I use bigeasy to find the high volume stocks, then import into ravenquote and scan for new 21 day highs. Ravenquote requires a subscrition to Q Charts, Big easy is free.

>> Anyone know of good places to find stocks with 20+ day bases that breakout without subscribing to TC 2000?

You can use other software but TC2000 is low cost and easy to use.

There was a GBS thread in SI but it disappeared, probably due to lack of activity.

Are you folks who are using the GBS method getting his 67% or better success rates?

investertech.com

This is a site that allows scans based on lot of different criteria. I had used it a few months back and was able to come up with scans that yield a low number of candidate GBS longs and shorts.

Thanks, Nandu. Mind telling me what values you plugged in to the fields to get the GBS picks? TIA
