Nothing can seem to get off the mat with any conviction.

Until just now, I never knew that movie was based on Janis Joplin - I remember considering that song for a piano recital - it's such a beautiful song, but I've never seen the movie. I'll have to correct that - love Joplin, always have. Check out Joss Stone, another of my favorites.
