AMD has always been able to lower their price to improve the price/performance ratio. That's hardly something to be proud about because they had to in order to sell their product. The problem has been that they had trouble making money in the process. Will that change? We'll see. |

According to this, 80% of Ryzen dice could theoretically be used to build epyc and threadripper chips, far greater than necessary. How do intel's bigger, monolithic dice yield, i wonder?

I just bought back my 10% at $15.23. They will probably push it lower, but want to be all-in for Ryzen 3, Threadripper, and Vega over the next few days. |
