From what I've heard, Nvidia already has a more powerful card. GTX1080TI is said to be more powerful than Vega (that hasn't even been released yet). But the point is, it's not just about performance. It's about price-performance ratio and AMD was always better at that.

My timing is not so good short term, sort of like my memory, but I digress. I expect AMD to have about 30% of its TAM in about two years. Quite possibly sooner. But, what the hell do I know.
