Comical is one way of describing it. Please let me know when it's a triple bottom. ;-)

I have three separate realtime charting platforms not including those of my multiple brokers. Am familiar with barchart. The issue was attaching a chart that SI doesn't butcher in its conversion to post. I attached a chart as opposed to publishing a link. Feel free to post or publish your VZ chart of your "double bottom" and can talk from there if you want.

For example, what difference, or % do you allow between the first and second bottom prices to still be valid? How soon after the second bottom should prices move higher? VZ sort of moved higher off an uneven "double bottom" only to now rollover on ex-dividend to back within your double bottom range. So what now, a triple bottom? Do you see how VZ needs to rally post haste or it's not a double bottom at all?

Is this not obvious to you on your chart?

Another non sequitur. I presume you mean VZ ticker. Do you understand how most market making is done by high frequency trading firms?

But I'll play along. Can you please explain to me how four decimal points on the bid/ask spread indicates institutional buying as opposed to say three, or even two decimal points on the spread? Mind you, most orders get filled between the spread on liquid stocks no matter the decimal points.

Curiously yours...

No, I'm a professional. And clearly much more of a technical trader than you are. You don't trade futures do you? Options? Global markets?

Treasuries carry essentially zero risk compared to VZ currently. Risk-adjusted returns is the concept. So the double bottom is now treading water? Duly noted.

Hilarious! Well, everyone knows "they" are there... but "they" are now machines. You are trading against machines, not people, and have been for 15+ years if not longer.
