Fair enough, so you're a former employee of GTE. From where VZ was back then in 2000 that's not exactly a good return on investment, a huge opportunity cost imo, considering what could have been done with that capital since then. Unless the cost basis of your shares was close to zero and you didn't want to pay the capital gains tax and just decided to milk it for yield all these decades. Like I said, to each her own. Yes, tentative. Just took this snapshot, unsure why SI compresses it to the point of distortion, oh well. Does this look like a clean double bottom to you? Will it soon be a triple bottom? And how rare are those? VZ stock now down ~5% since going ex-dividend the other day. Monday, Monday...
