That's what happens when Obanker sells the US healthcare system to Wall st.

But you'll never get koan to admit that.

You have changed the subject.

The subject is global warming.

But you are right, I should not have gone into politics.

My bad.

That guy you pointed out was fired by Harvard for his dishonest climate claims, motivated by a million dollars he got paid by the oil companies.

If you don't trust scientists that is dumb.

Why should anyone trust a "$cientist" that is wholly dependent on toeing the line that his funders present as a condition for his funding? It happens too often. See: Covid jab and other pharma $cientists as examples outside the current area of discussion.

First, that is nonsense. Scientists are often too careful because their reputation is on the line.

The statistics about global warming constantly come out worse than predicted by scientists because the scientists are afraid to ring the alarm too loud BECAUSE so many folks get on them, so they are too cautious.

Scientists are scientists because they are curious and the top one's know of each other and if one sells out the community rejects them

They all fear that above all else. And most work in universities, and are given pretty much free reign.

My son in law is one of those scientists, and a top one, and could make 2 or 3 times more money working for a corporation but doesn't because he does not want to sell his soul.

Did you know only 6% of scientists are Republicans? And the majority are liberal.

Do you know why? It is because the Republican party, in general, does not believe in global warming and evolution, and all good scientiats know both are settled science.

So how can a scientist be a Republicans?

Do you feel that way about doctors?

I'll bet you trust them when you get sick or hurt!

Doctors have mostly been misled by their corrupt Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons. The whole system is rotten to the core with it and the FDA captured by big pharma. We're just going to have to agree to disagree. Your use of the oxymoron: "settled science," ironically, settles it for me. When the money decides the outcome, no good comes from it, and I believe that many doctors don't even know they're pushing ineffective, unsafe poisons, yet iatrogenesis is the third leading cause of death.

You do not seem to understand that everything we have with regard to creature comforts was given to us by knowledge and the scientists that trade in that currency..

They doubled our life span in the last 150 years. They gave us electricity, antibiotics, cars and planes and the internet and democracy and ethics.

We lived like animals until they gained control just recently. The ignorant, rich, and churches kept them down for all of history.

We had slavery until 1865 for Christ's sake. Doesn't get any more barbaric than that.

And the idea there is some other system for what, science,? is silly.

It is, what it is, and democracy is our only power to defend ourselves.

Our only defense to the rich controlling us, as they did for all of history, is our democracy, but the grand irony is while the anti science folks complain about big pharma, it is really the rich who are the problem.

And everyone knows the Republican party supported by MAGA is the party of the rich.

BUT the MAGA folks are among the poorest. So what are they doing?

Working against their own best interests.

Your thesis makes no sense.

Your post is one big non sequitur. I'm not a science denier. I'm observing the reality on the ground that what is being practiced is not science; it's pure corruption driven by greed with little to no regard for the supposed desired end result of medicine. the Hippocratic oath has been abandoned. It's just a business now with only shareholders' needs being met rather than patients'. There are primitive societies living in jungles with superior life spans to ours; they do not know of any of the chronic modern diseases that modern man is plagued with.

Our life spans are actually shortening now. The decline began with the Rockefeller takeover of medicine in the early 20th century. Note I'm not completely dismissing modern medicine, but superior natural medicine was prohibited by the new system in order for the petrochemical purveyors to profit more. Disease is not caused by petrochemical derived pharmaceutical deficiency, but that is, for the most part, the current (extremely profitable) sickness-care model.

That is not true.

Name one primitive society living in a jungle anywhere with a superior lifespan.

Good luck with that.

I am sure you just made that up.

Some of that is true about the corruption, but in the main it is that you just do not understanding the reality.

There are good and decent people who know their stuff, and we should be listening to them.

I am sorry, but I have no idea what you are talking about.

And you are learning from the wrong people.
