Read some of the comments. Here is one about renewable oil. Scroll down and select "Show more" to view what Ronald Ogletree says.
Lots of other highly qualified scientists can be quoted too.
It's very plain indeed, the science of Climate Change is not "settled". Not even remotely.
But the crooked politicians and oligarchs would have you believe in the fairy tales. "The science is settled".
Science is never "settled" and another word you use completely out of whack is "outliers".
Do you know what "outlier" means? It's to describe data points outside of a group. Outliers can be important, especially when scientists are to be considered. Einstein (and a few others) were "outliers".
Do you understand what I am saying?
What you have been saying is utter tosh. Really, talk to that son in law of yours some more, you need to understand some basics. |

In fact Harvard let him go for being a crazy fuck-lol!
He is in fact a discredited and disgraced climate denier accused of taking a million dollars from big oil!
As I said most climate deniers are in bed with big oil.
He is also connected with Fucker Carlson a Putin Stooge and all around asshole!
You MAGA sure distort things.
I always wonder why does your thinking not just follow the facts!
"Why did Willie soon leave Harvard?
Putting forward health reasons, in 2011 Soon went from full-time employment by the Smithsonian at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian to a part-time position. The Center's spokesman said "Willie's opinions regarding climate change are his personal views not shared within our research organization".
F"Former Fox host Tucker Carlson is platforming disgraced climate denier Willie Soon, an aerospace engineer known for accepting over $1 million from fossil fuel companies for writing publications he referred to as “deliverables.”
Carlson invited Soon, a former researcher at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, on his exclusive program on X (formerly Twitter) for an interview on January 9. The two amplified long-debunked hypotheses about what is causing climate change, and clips from the interview have already been viewed over 1 million times on TikTok, likely by a young audience that might not be familiar with Soon’s controversies, which came to light back in 2015.
The spread of these videos highlights TikTok’s ongoing climate misinformation problem, even as it has begun implementing a new policy banning content that “undermines well-established scientific consensus, such as denying the existence of climate change or the factors that contribute to it.”

To: koan who wrote (436222) | 9/13/2024 1:38:19 PM | From: maceng2 | | | You are losing it koan. You are supposed to be talking science, not politics, and yes the two are entirely different things.
Example:
It isn't just "theoretical commitment" (see link below) to a particular line of thought that binds scientist to a particular fashionable theory these days. Unless you say "the right thing" you get disfranchised and run out of your job as you have so beautifully illustrated. There is a Nazi type Gestapo running the "climate science" business at this time. You are one of the unconscious lackies following the orders.
Here is some earlier stuff.
<< In France, Einstein was largely ignored until he visited in 1910. In the U.S., a few understood it, but, in general, relativity was ridiculed as “totally impractical and absurd.” In Britain, his theories met with resistance, because relativity was seen as a direct challenge to the widely accepted theory of ether.>>

It's failed in a number of instances, even though the majority of the health care workers do their very best.
The crooks have their claws in it unfortunately, on a global basis, not just USA.
Here is the USA.

To: maceng2 who wrote (436223) | 9/13/2024 3:12:52 PM | From: koan | | | You have changed the subject.
The subject is global warming.
But you are right, I should not have gone into politics.
My bad.
That guy you pointed out was fired by Harvard for his dishonest climate claims, motivated by a million dollars he got paid by the oil companies.
If you don't trust scientists that is dumb. |

To: koan who wrote (436226) | 9/13/2024 3:27:24 PM | From: h_ | | | Why should anyone trust a "$cientist" that is wholly dependent on toeing the line that his funders present as a condition for his funding? It happens too often. See: Covid jab and other pharma $cientists as examples outside the current area of discussion. |
