Eric, you've made a couple of references now to upgrading the software. Is this all on the server end? In other words, what is the current version of the client software?

The current version of the software is ESP version 2.0.0. We will have version 2.1.0 released within the next two weeks with a number of enhancements.

Eric,

Glad to hear updates are on the way.

One thing I'd like to suggest for future update consideration.....unless you folks have already considered it and decided against it for one reason or another....

And that is.....a box to check on the sign-in page to remember your user name and password.....very convenient not to have to input them every time.

Pat

There is an easy way to have your username and password automatically remembered so you don't need to log it in each time.

Go to your desktop and right-click on the Pristine ESP icon. Select "Properties" then click on the "Shortcut" tab. From this window, you need to append to the end of the "Target". Currently, it shows the hard drive location of the ESP program and likely looks something like:

"C:\Program Files\Pristine\Pristine ESP\PristineESP.exe"

Let's assume your username is "humpty" and password is "dumpty". You will need to append your username and password information as follows.

"C:\Program Files\Pristine\Pristine ESP\PristineESP.exe" -U humpty -P dumpty

By doing this, the username and password will be automatically loaded into the appropriate location on the login screen. Don't forget to insert your username and password and not use humpty dumpty! <smile>

What dual screen card are you using? I am using matrox g400 dualhead and cannot get the program to work. They need to test it with these cards as a lot of traders use them.

Hi Arb

I checked the powerdesk options there not the same as the ones u mentioned.
i have the following options selected on powerdesk:
ask me before applying new collor settings
show matrox quick desk when win restarts
show matrox quick desk icon on taskbar
use polygon acceleration
use device bitmap cashing
use bus mastering
possibly diffrent options because of the diffrent opperating system iam ussing...since i dont have the same setup as u i would sugest u to call Pristine's tech support at 1-800-340-6477 they probably could help u with the settings for NT or possibly if the option is avail to u use a computer that is not dual display enabled for the pristineESP software.

..good-luck

New ESP Release

Today we released Pristine ESP version 2.1.0, which can be found and downloaded from the website at pristine.com

For people upgrading to this release, I usually suggest people uninstall the prior version of ESP first, then verify that all other applications are closed down before installing the new release. Also, I recommend you do a "Typical" installation and not select the "Custom" installation option.

Please see the following link for more information about the enhancements in this latest release.

I'm off to catch a plane now. See you at the Expo in NY tomorrow...

Hi Eric. I have two questions. (1) can the "speak stock alert" function be turned on so that it speaks it every time the alert posts? (2) I noticed that I can select the "show alert details" and get a more detailed explanation of the alert. I also noticed that I can highlight the symbol(after the details are displayed) as if I were going to do a copy and paste function. But, when I right click it will not let me copy or cut. If the copy and paste function worked, I could copy that symbol into my Qcharts screens for charts or tracking. Would something like that be possible? or would it require programming changes to ESP and Qcharts?
Richard
